About Wayne Donnelly
Welcome. I'm Wayne Donnelly, Hypnotist, NLP Practitioner, Trainer, Keynote Speaker and Entertainer.
I fell in love with the power of the mind when I first did a fire walk experience with Tony Robbins in 1996. Since that very moment I have invested years of research and further education in Hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming.
After coming from a successful career in Financial Services as an Accountant, Financial Planner and Business Coach, and having watched so many battle through their days with frustration, fear and procrastination, it was my drive to develop specific programs that reached out to the corporate market to assist them with removing their limitations so they could reach their full potential.
There is a certain magic in harnessing the power of the mind and using that power to transform lives. Watching people step out of being stuck and into the freedom of being who they are destined to be is a thrill I never tire of.
What is Hypnosis?
Simply hypnosis taps into the unconscious mind where your critical thought processes take place. It is completely safe and natural and there is no “loss of control” at any point in time – in fact, the aim is to give you back control of your life. Be assured, there is no clucking like a chicken, going out or going under. Self-hypnosis is simply a state of deep relaxation, such as when you are lost in a good book or good movie.
Hypnotherapy is effective in re-programming your thought processes and attitudes towards certain habits in your life, such as overeating or smoking. Because hypnotism taps into your unconscious mind it is effective in breaking habits that negatively affect your performance and productivity.
What is NLP?
NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Neuro refers to your neurology; Linguistic refers to language; programming refers to how that neural language functions. In other words, learning NLP is like learning the language of your own mind!
NLP explores the inner workings of the human mind; how we think, how we develop our desires, goals and fears and how we motivate ourselves, make connections, and give meaning to our experiences.
NLP is like the ‘user’s manual’ for the mind, and allows us to use the language of the mind to consistently achieve our specific and desired outcomes.
When you through NLP practices, you will learn specific skills and patterns necessary to make positive changes, create new choices, be more effective with others, break free of old habits, self-destructive patterns and behaviours, and think more clearly about what it is you want and how to get it.
